Annual Mad Hatter's Tea, April 6, 2011 to benefit Gilbreath Memorial Library

Anita Williams - Sunday, March 27, 2011

The annual Mad Hatter’s Tea to benefit the Gilbreath Memorial Library in Winnsboro, will be held on Wednesday, April 6th, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Library, 916 N. Main St., Winnsboro, TX.

This year marks the 101st Tea sponsored by the Standard Club to benefit the Library in Winnsboro.

The Tea is free and open to the public.  All donations are used to purchase books and other lending materials at the Library.

This is always a fun event, as well as an important fund-raising event for the library.

Last year’s Tea was just recognized with a 1st place award for fundraising from the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs, Key District.  The President of Key District, Sonja Tate, is planning to attend this year’s Tea.

The Red Hat Ladies are big supporters every year and will be at the Tea. Feel free to wear a hat of your own in any color (or no hat at all).

Any questions, please contact Linda Suche at 903-342-0888.
