Clements Realtors now owned by the Burnett Family!

Anita Williams - Wednesday, November 09, 2011

Our congratulations to the Burnett Family for becoming the new owners of CLEMENTS REALTORS!

CLEMENTS REALTORS was established 56 years ago in Dallas, Texas.  Since that day back in 1955, CLEMENTS REALTORS has provided the people of the area with quality service and dependablity in all areas of real estate.

In 1983, a branch office was opened in Winnsboro by an agent of CLEMENTS REALTORS and her husband, who moved from Dallas to this small town to raise their children.  She started by working from her home.

In February of 1984, an office was opened in the former Edge Real Estate Building.   In 1988, Clements moved to 703 South Main (across the street from the DQ).  In 2006, the adjoining “Cassell House,” located at 701 South Main (also across the street from the DQ), was purchased and renovated and the office was moved once again.

After 28 years in Winnsboro, the Office building and the Business were purchased by The Burnett Family - Archie, Francell, Brett and Lori.  Francell has been an Agent with the company since 1984 and Office Manager since 1987.  Archie has been an Agent since 1985 while working as Purchasing Agent with Flowserve.

Lori received her license in 2009 but has taken a leave from the Real Estate Business to care for their two children - Zane, 5 and Jillian, 1 and to do the Videography for  their Media Business.  Brett runs their Computer  and Media Business – AfterGlow Productions – located next door.  Along with Computer Sales and Service, they do the Videotaping and Transferring.  They are one of the few companies in the area that also converts the older reel tapes to DVD.

When Dick Clements decided it was time for him to take a break or maybe retire from the Real Estate Business, it was only natural for the Burnetts to purchase the company.

The office is staffed with eight dedicated and honest  Agents and a licensed Administrative Assistant..   The agents are members of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Greater Tyler Association of Realtors and Multiple Listing Services, and some are members of NTREIS (a very large Multiple Listing Service covering Dallas, Ft Worth, and all their surrounding areas).

Even though the Company is under new ownership, they still have the same GREAT staff and Agents and the same honest and dependable service that has kept us going strong in Winnsboro since 1983.

As the Burnetts continue with the business, the family extends this invitation:

We welcome you to call or come by our office to meet us and to make an appointment to view that 'just right' property that you have been waiting for!

We take pride in treating every customer honest and fair, and treating each listing as if our very own.  Give us a chance to help you with your every real estate need!
