In an effort to expand and enhance its event for artists in the region, The Winnsboro Fine Art Market is sponsoring an Official Poster Competition for its November 2011 art festival.
“One of the goals of the Art Market is to promote area artists and this competition will be a great opportunity for the winning artist to gain some notoriety as well as earning a little spending money,” said Mary Smith, Event Director.
In addition to having their artwork featured on all event marketing materials, the winner will receive a $500 cash award and recognition on the website and at the Art Market.
The winning artwork will be auctioned at the Patrons’ Reception held on Friday, November 4th, to kick off the event.
The competition is open to all artists 18 years and older, and to minors who have the written consent of a parent or guardian. Artwork in any media will be considered.
