Take a trip back to Victorian times during the 3rd Friday Art Walk on Friday, December 21, 2012, 6 pm - 9 pm

Anita Williams - Tuesday, December 18, 2012

As always, there are several Art Walk Stops in the
downtown area. Every participating business is within
easy walking distance.

The Fashion Walk will feature individuals and couples
who are dressed in the Victorian manner. Everyone
is invited to dress in costume if they choose.  (It's really
fun to step back in time!)

The Winnsboro Center for the Arts is featuring the
"Gathering of Light" exhibition of Donna Page.

In addition, the following businesses will be welcoming
you with Victorian Yuletide cheer. . .

Art & Espresso
Sayadream Studio
Beauweevil's
Winnsboro Emporium
Liefie's
Silhouette Dressmaking
Keyring Gallery
StarDragonfly Herb Shop

Plus Winnsboro Center for the Arts will be open to serve popcorn and cider.

Plan now to be at the Winnsboro Fine Art Market Saturday and Sunday, November 3-4, 2012

Anita Williams - Wednesday, April 11, 2012

Plan on a day, or the entire weekend to enjoy the 2012 Winnsboro Fine Art Market.  To date, we’ve enjoyed sunny fall weather for the event that features some of the state’s best artists.

To make an event like this a success, there are artists, volunteers, sponsors. . . and art lovers!

Click on the tab that relates to your interest and become a participant in one of the best art festivals in Texas.

Mark your calendar now:

The Winnsboro Fine Art Market spans two days:

Saturday, November 3 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, November 4 – 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

The action is focused on Market & Elm Streets, with more activities at the Depot.  Visitors enjoy strolling through the exhibit area, stopping to talk to artists and watching few artists as they explain their techniques.

There are also activities for school children and a Student Exhibit.

There are plenty of award-winning restaurants in the Main Street area just steps from the exhibit space.

As we get closer to the date, we’ll be adding more detailed information, as well as posting updates on the blog at the Winnsboro Online Guide.

The updates website will go live very soon.

Artists who are interested in getting an application may contact the organizers by sending a request via the "Contact" form on this site.

ART Region to hold meeting at local art studio on Tuesday, April 10, 1:30 pm

Anita Williams - Sunday, April 08, 2012

The next ART Region meeting will be held at Al and Georgia Moore's on April 10 (Tuesday), at 1:30 pm.  Great surroundings call for a very special meeting.  We have several exciting upcoming events to announce, plan and discuss.

Please come join, and add your input to help the art and artists of NE Texas.  If there are other artists, tourism, chambers of commerce, "educators," or city officials in your area that might be interested, please feel free to invite them.   Just e-mail and let me know if you ( + any others) are coming.  See you at the meeting Tuesday, April 10th.

For more information on the ART Region go to www.artregionoftexas.com or listen to an interview on KETR-FM Radio: www.ketr.org   Scott Harvey's "The Lead" (March 30, 2012) has the interview where Scott and Sandy Page talk about the ART Region and what it represents, and upcoming events in the region.   The interview starts about 6 minutes into "The Lead" for that day.

The entry to the Atrium Gallery is at the bottom of the drive to the right.  Walk to the blue door with the glass lights in it.  Welcome!  For anyone needing assistance with directions, call 903-850-0269 or 903-365-2536
