A “Town Hall Meeting”, hosted by the Winnsboro Economic Development Corporation will be held at City Auditorium at City Park, 6 pm, March 31, 2011.

The meeting is to discuss the WISD area joining the North East Texas Community College taxing District. 

Dr. Brad Johnson, college president, will present what it will mean for the future of our community and what the college will implement in Winnsboro should citizens decide to join the district.  After the approximate 30 minute presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the initiative.

The meeting is an opportunity to make an informed decision regarding our taxes, Winnsboro’s future, and to determine if you feel there would be a return on investment.
