The annual Tour De' Trails Bike Ride is sponsored by the Pilot Club of Winnsboro, TX.
Here are the details:
The start time is Saturday, Oct. 9 at 9 am at the Depot in downtown Winnsboro at the intersection of Broadway (Hwy 11) and Main Street (Hwy 37).
Pick the 20 mile route, 40 mile route or 65 mile route. First, second and third cash prizes will be awarded for each of the three routes.
The routes includes long stretches of beautiful country roads through the woods and alongside farms and ranches. Depending on the route you select, you may also be on highways such as Hwy 37 or Hwy 154 or Hwy 515 (Coke Rd.). Other race segments will be along county roads or farm to market roads.
Some of these roads are among the most beautiful drives in East Texas.
