A new addition to the marketing arsenal of the Winnsboro Online Guide has been launched.
It's the new Mobile App that gives friends and fans instant access to the information you want most. . . without having to drag your laptop along or be at your desktop computer.
Among the elements of the Mobile App, we will have specials promoted by local businesses and instant messages to collect loyalty credits at a number of businesses.
If you haven't gotten your free download, scan the QR codes for either android or iphones.
Or go to iTunes or Goggle Play and search for "Winnsboro". If you missed the ad in the Winnsboro News, here it is.

Mr. Bulkley is going to be giving away a new 2013 Ford F150 from Texas Country Ford to the driver that achieved the highest fuel mileage rating for Bulkley Trucking.
We will have free food, rock climbing wall, and an obstacle course for the kids (or any adults who dare).
Also, 95.9 will be broadcasting live and giving away free Kenny Chesney concert tickets.
Come on over to Coke Rd. and join the fun!

P.J. Leslie is the General Manager of the Texas Country Ford dealership on Coke Rd. in Winnsboro, Texas. Clint Bulkley, owner of the Bulkley Trucking Company in Sulphur Springs, Texas, is the owner of the dealership and also P.J.’s uncle.
When Bulkley bought the business, it was clear the dealership needed a higher profile and a skilled sales staff, as well as a top-notch service team, to achieve a high-profile position in the city again
Since P.J. became the General Manager, the staff has been expanded from two employees to eight team members. The service technicians are all taking Ford Certified Classes, which assures customers the peace of mind that they adhere to the highest standards when diagnosing a vehicle. Of the four working in the service area, two of the techs are also diesel certified.
On the new and used sales side, Michael Jaynes is in charge of sales and finance. The increase in sales has increased from five or six vehicles per month to 16 cars and trucks in December, 2012, 19 sales in January, 2013, and is on track to sell 20 vehicles in February, 2013.
Texas Country Ford works with 4-5 banks at any given time to accommodate everyone ranging from the credit challenged to A+ scores.
Although the lot is filled with new and used trucks and cars, buyers are not limited to the inventory on hand. Texas Country Ford has access to cars and trucks at 3,500 Ford dealerships across the country. With the internet, vehicles that fit the customer’s criteria can be found easily and transported to Texas Country Ford.
In addition to managing the dealership, P.J. is also a valuable board member on the Winnsboro Economic Development Corporation.

The March 3rd Friday Art Walk will feature a “Pioneer” theme with merchants and visitors dressed in historic pioneer type costumes. The Art Walk begins at 6:00 pm with a reception at the Winnsboro Center for the Arts. Music is scheduled for Double C, Brewbaker’s and Liefie’s.

Saturday activities:
The Farmers Market will be open at 9:00 am on the Depot parking lot by the caboose.
Come to the historic Main Street District and enjoy seeing Winnsboro from a new perspective.
Set a couple of hours aside to enjoy the company of other women as you enjoy wine and shop for intriguing and dramatic decorative accessories. You'll also find luxurious personal care items such as soaps and lotions.
Better yet, you'll discover the joy of imported dipping oils and gourmet items.
Clara Ida Frances opened last year to overwhelming success from the start. So many lovely items, plus unusual, imported pieces for your home.
This "you can't miss it" event marks the first anniversary. . . and it's worth celebrating with other women who want a touch of luxury for in their homes and themselves.
We are likely to see last minute additions of musical events, so keep an eye out for them. Check the Winnsboro Online Guide page on Facebook for performances that are booked at the last minute.
Winnsboro musicians are inclined to schedule a gig at the last minute (and I do mean LAST minute!). Occasionally there may be a change in performers due to schedules or illness.
