Winter white rocker
Planning on having a white Christmas out here in East Texas is a fantasy most years. Last night, we (like many in town) had relatives visiting. As it started snowing in the afternoon, the Dallas contingent loaded up to make what should have been a two hour trip home, but turned into a four-hour, white-knuckle challenge.
It continued snowing here and we awoke to snow glistening in the early morning sunlight, as if sprinkled with silver glitter.
As of now (noon-ish on Dec. 26), Coke Rd. has remarkably light traffic and the sun is melting the snow.
Enjoy it while you can!
Not much traffic on Coke Rd!
