Northeast Texas Writers' Organization to hold its Spring 2012 Conference

The Northeast Texas Writers' Association - NETWO - is holding the Spring Writers' Conference at teh Mt. Pleasant Civic Center on Friday April 27 and Saturday April 28.

The headliner is best-selling author Jodi Thomas.  In addition, New York agents will be present for individual consultations.

The conferences are highly regarded among area writers and provide a good opportunity to network with other professional writers.

Winnsboro Emporium is quickly becoming, not just a place to discover intriguing used books, one-of-a-kind art and collective vinyl LPs.  Artists and writers enjoy the intimate atmosphere for events.  In June, Conrad, the owner of the Winnsboro Emporium, has three events scheduled.

Live Poets Society Meeting
Saturday June 17, 6 pm
No charge.

This is monthly event that coincides with the 3rd Friday Arts Festival. Poets are invited to read and discuss their work. The public is invited to listen and/or participate.

Workshop for Writers
Jory Sherman will present a two week course titled: New Publishing Secrets, the easy path to publishing. Jory is an award winning author who has more than 400 books in print. He is also an award winning painter.
