PERFORMANCES ON THE BOWERY STAGE

ANNE-ARKEY - A COMEDY
Winnsboro Center for the Arts
May 5 - 7

The Bowery Players at the Winnsboro Center for the Arts are primed and ready to entertain at the Weekend of Comedy, May 5th, 6th and 7th.  Friday and Saturday curtain time is 7 pm, Sunday matinee at 2 pm.  The first act is a play, "Anne-Arky," written by Lindsay Price and directed by Maryann Miller and Jamie Turney.
"Anne-Arky," as the name suggests, encompasses quite a bit of nonsense as a troupe of players put on a production of "Anne of Green Gables," and the audience gets a glimpse of what goes on backstage during a production.Sometimes it isn't pretty.  The second act will be improv, which is always an audience favorite, and this is a show that will make a fun family outing.  The players in the show range in age fro the youngest at twelve, Linden Clark, to Adrienne Walters who is old enough to be his great-grandmother.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under twelve. Tickets can be purchased at the WCA, The Winnsboro Emporium , or at the door.
