Relax. You're at home.

Winnsboro is a small town that's both peaceful and very
active! As a Texas designated Cultural Arts District, there
are places to admire and create art, listen to music and
enjoy community theater productions.
As a Main Street community, we are able to watch as
historic buildings are restored, making the downtown more
charming every year.
Residents are deeply and passionately involved with civic
organizations, school and church events.
Because of a large group of second-home owners from
Dallas and Ft. Worth in the area, we have more than our
share of good restaurants, many of which have won
awards (sometimes more than once).
The operations of the city are primarily focused in City
Hall on South Main Street, which includes the city
administration, police and fire departments. You can drop
by and pay your water bill, chat with the staff and say
hello to City Kitty, who pretty well rules City Hall.
We have a great life here, with plenty of beautiful back
roads to drive, many lakes in the area, including
Lake Winnsboro, and recreation such as fishing
and boating.
