Birding

The Texas Bird Records Committee has recognized 636 species as Texas Birds.  The East Texas area has close to 200 bird species.

The mild winters in East Texas provide great opportunities to watch winter migrants as well.

Just take a pair of binoculars wherever you go in the Winnsboro area and enjoy hummingbirds, hawks and more.
