Chris Brown is a prominent artist in East Texas, known for his unique artistic style that evolved from Abstract Expressionism to Assemblage. His work is now well known in Winnsboro and surrounding East Texas communities.  After a recent trip to Europe he was inspired to open a new studio on Market Street better known as the Bowery.  He watched various artists not only create artistic venues, but also made them into working studios, so visitors could learn more about their art.  Living in Winnsboro, Texas. Brown’s art reflects his diverse artistic journey and his deep appreciation for non-traditional materials and experimentation. With his vision and artistry he introduced East Texas to Bloom which is now an annual event in Winnsboro.
