Escobedo’s Scratch Kitchen is an amazing addition to the Winnsboro food scene. Everything Daniel Wallis, owner of Escobedo’s, provides, is made from scratch. Selections include homemade chicken or cheese enchilada pans with green or red sauce; pepperoni, three meat and supreme fatbreads plus beer, wine and homemade jarred salsa and snacks! Some new items include Italian sausage and ground beef baked ziti as well as some cheese baked ziti and Chicken N’ Dumplins is now back in stock.

Pyke's Pantry
Stefanie and Pyke Samson found their way from San Diego, California to the magic of Winnsboro in 2022. It all started by creating natural, healthy meals and food in their home for friends and family. From there, they sold products at Farmers Markets and continued to expand their unique offerings of salsas, BBQ sauces, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, pickled items and more. Stefanie prepares a one of a kind taco each day that can be enjoyed for breakfast or lunch. Are you ready for prime rib tacos, pulled pork taco’s or maybe basil pesto pasta salad with kalamata olives, heirloom cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and Parmesan cheese.

Backstage Coffee Lounge
Deneice Scott, creator and owner of the Backstage Coffee Lounge, is anxious to become an active participant in the Winnsboro Community. Her goal is to offer the best coffee and tea drinks as well as unique foods that will be sure to create a regular following. The lounge offers classy but comfortable seating so patrons can spend time with friends, read or even get a little work done.
Offerings will include lattes, cappuccinos, specialty teas and frozen smoothies similar to frappuccinos. Initial food offered will include cinammon rolls with a coffee flavored glaze, cookies and other breakfast items. Future food items will be similar to theatre and deli foods, sandwiches and grab and go items. Additionally look forward to an amazing lemon cake.

The Elusive Turkey Restaurant and Bar
The original Elusive Turkey was located on Broadway Street and closed during the pandemic. It has now been re-opened at 218 N. Main St. in Winnsboro. The owners of the Elusive Turkey, Ron and Dana McGlone have truly transformed the building into a very welcoming and fun place with a true hometown vibe. They are passionate about providing the best and most unique food offerings with friendly and welcoming service. Ron and Dana are from Winnsboro and truly appreciate the special place they call home. They recognize the value of close friendships and support from the community that is hard to find in bigger cities. The theme song from Cheers, “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”, came to mind as he shared his feelings. Good thing there is a very long bar in the restaurant to accommodate both regulars and first timers.

Z's Main Street Eats & Treats
A completely renovated 1901 one historic building in downtown Winnsboro. The Zimmer’s took great care in creating a beautiful restaurant with an amazing offering. The selection is very wide with an ice cream bar with unique combinations of flavors, lunch and dinner items as well as a full bar. The menu is delightful with very creative dishes with playful names. The soft opening got rave reviews for the quality restoration and the scrumptious and unique food.

Sinclair Market
A new offering in Winnsboro that opened in June, 2021. The Market offers a wide variety of To Go items from specialty foods, coffees, wine and beer. Think of it like an upscale convenience store with daily specials of sandwiches, soups and more. The building is a renovated Sinclair Gas Station that was expanded for more offerings.
There is an outside eating area if you prefer to slow down and not hop back in your car. The community has come in force to support this new business and are excited about this wonderful addition to Winnsboro.

The Barrel House
A true gathering place and one of the newest restaurants in Winnsboro TX with a wide menu of unique offerings. If you are in the mood for a hamburger try their award winning Barrel House Burger. Grilled to perfection and served with bacon, avocado, gouda cheese and a fried egg. Simply awesome.
